Recycling Statement

Increasing number of governmental entities are enacting legislation aimed at recycling cell phones and other wireless devices. For example, Colorado law requires nonresidential organizations to treat consumer electronic items - PCs, color monitors, cell phones, color TVs, etc. - as hazardous waste and record their disposition. Two states - California and Massachusetts – require proper recycling of these items, and other states have legislation pending. In Florida, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is encouraging Floridians to recycle old or unwanted cell phones.

As we can see, there is an ever growing desire on the part of individuals and organizations for all of us to be more environmentally friendly with our cell phones.

SellYourCell.com is dedicated to the idea that used cell phones can have their useful lives extended with re-marketing. Re-marketing can and does result in lengthening the life of an individual phone and indirectly reduces the need for the purchase of a new phone. Extending the life of products in these ways are a recognized means of effective recycling.
